A fellow needs a girl to sit by his side, at the end of a weary day. To sit by his side and listen to him talk and agree with the things he’ll say.

I couldn’t agree with you and him more. :-)

Wonderful lyrics for a Monday, hope yours was good and yes it goes both ways.
Thank you :) Yes, it does go both ways …. there is a balance to every relationship.
That you would think to post lyrics such as that, makes me like you all the more.
Hope you’re having a good week.
Why, aren’t you nice? Thanks for reading and enjoying the lyrics … I hope you are having a good week as well.
I’m with Frank and Joseph on this one.
Behind every great man is an even better woman.
I agree :)
not every guy has such a luxury and I’m one of those !
Aw!
That sounds a little selfish. What about the crap the woman has gone through on the very same day? In my world its pop a bottle of red and listen to music.
If it works both ways, John, it’s not selfish.
Now that’s a better sounding recipe :)
Hm. I didn’t think of anything sounding selfish when I posted these lyrics. I guess I was thinking about it a bit differently … if a girl is going to listen to her man after a long day, its because she wants to and she enjoys the closeness that it brings. I wasn’t thinking about any of the crap us women go through or that we would be neglected in the process … but then again, my blog is about loving men. :)
:)
You’re doing a great job of it, G. Loving men that is.
“Indeed” ! Always loved “Old Blue Eyes”
I grew up listening to him .. my Nana would pull out all of her records when I would go to her house and we would listen to Frank, Tony and Dean, all day. :)
