Recognition Feels Good

It’s a lovely feeling when readers like a post, leave a comment, follow along or send an email … but it really feels wonderful when a fellow reader nominates you for an award and by doing so, shares your blog with their readers.

This morning I nuzzled up to a cup of coffee and my laptop to find that I was nominated for 2 awards.  What a feeling!  Tickles me with happiness, right down to my core.

Rather than follow the regular award format, I usually like to thank those that granted the award and introduce you to a new blog.

Tempting Sweets  - Fabulous Gutter Blogger Award
Looking for a different way to use Nutella?  Tempting Sweets will introduce you to deliciously kinky stories, videos, cool quotes and ways to keep your man happy while feeding your Nutella cravings.  I’m often reading her posts and thinking … “oh yes, I would sooo post that!”

Random Thoughts - One Lovely Blog Award
I just love when someone follows my blog and when I go to check theirs out, I am pleasantly surprised to find out the writer behind the gravatar.  He describes his blog as “random musings about everything” but I would describe him as a modern-day philosopher musing about old-world topics – ranging from atheism to religion and the meaning of life to movies.  Im often reading Random Thoughts  while tilting my head to the side and chewing on the end of a pencil.  :)

Thousands of blogs exist, yet you chose to read mine and nominate me for an award.

From the bottom of my typing fingertips, thank you!

  1. Having followed your blog for a time now, I would have to agree with the people who nominated you and the comments/replies above here. You have a gift of bringing to the front a whole host of issues and orients, not to mention the occasional titillating post that just breeds good posting……

  2. Best feeling ever, when you get recognized for what you do or write. Awards especially, cause it shows how the person’s been reading your blog over a certain period of time and appreciating it. You deserve it :D
